Outside Sales

Commissions-Based Government and Commercial Office Products Sales Positions

We are seeking one sales person to grow general office product business (supplies, equipment and furniture) within the Federal Government. We are also seeking one sales person to grow equipment sales within local commercial accounts. Individuals will be provided with the compensation, training, tools and resources necessary to be successful, including:

  • Training in the products/services we offer
  • CRM software
  • A large and open account base to work
  • Ongoing lead generation
  • Customer support personnel to assist in order taking and troubleshooting customer issues
  • Team selling approach
  • Highest paid commission structure in the office product industry

Job Requirements:

  • Strong work ethic

  • Possess strong time management and organization skills
  • Experience with conducting outbound calls to customers/prospects (in accordance with company sales strategy)
  • Must be able to interact well with other team members to resolve customer issues and ensure profitability
  • Must be disciplined to follow company procedures and processes as well complete all required documentation for customers, as well as entries into the company CRM system
  • Meet or exceed sales and productivity requirements (proven track record selling office products/equipment a large plus)

Experience required:

  • Federal Account Executives — entry-level positions available
  • Commercial Equipment Account Executive — minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience selling office equipment (faxes, copiers, printers) in commercial accounts

Inside Sales

AmeriSys, Inc. is looking for an experienced inside salesperson to work full- or part-time prospecting for new business. Basic responsibilities will include the following:

Prospecting Activities

  • Telephone prospecting to government and commercial buyers to identify new opportunities for outside sales reps
  • Qualifying opportunities and assigning leads to appropriate outside sales rep
  • Implementing inside sales strategies to support outside sales reps (e.g., email/calling campaigns)
  • Generating interest in catalogs and other promotional materials
  • Prospecting in new markets to help direct growth into new geographic markets

Direct Sales

  • Telephone sales to government buyers possessing a government-issue credit card ($2,500 limit)
  • Telephone sales to commercial customers to drive equipment and service sales

CRM Use

  • Basic use of CRM application

This individual will be provided with the training, tools, and resources necessary to be successful, including:

  • Training in the products/services we offer
  • PC/Internet access
  • CRM software

Service Technicians

AmeriSys is seeking service technicians for in-house and on-site office equipment repair for commercial and federal government customers in the Washington, DC, Metropolitan Area.

Applicants should have some formal electronics repair training, as well as a minimum of four years experience in the repair of fax equipment, printers, and/or copiers. Certifications from HP, Xerox, and/or Panasonic are a plus. Experience in installing networked devices is desirable. Management experience is also a plus.

Applicants must be well spoken, well-organized, self-motivated, able to work well with minimal supervision, and possess excellent customer service skills.

Customer Service/Administrative Assistant

AmeriSys, Inc. is looking for an experienced customer service/admin person to work full-time/part-time in support of our current customer base as well as assist with internal office and administrative duties. Basic responsibilities will include the following:

Customer Service

  • Answering telephone calls from current prospects and customers in regard to taking and processing orders, troubleshooting any customer issues, as well as providing general support for our account managers

Administrative Assistant

  • Order and purchase office supplies
  • General office and administrative duties including:
  • Check in received orders
  • Light shipping
  • Support management via our financial system (DDMS)

This individual will be provided with the training, tools, and resources necessary to be successful including:

  • Training in the products/services we offer
  • Casual and comfortable working environment
  • PC/Internet access
  • Financial software access

Applicants should be well organized, possess good communication skills, and be able to work well on their own as well as in a team environment. In addition, applicants should possess a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Lastly, experience in the office products arena as well as with accounting software would be considered a plus.
